In my experience, almond milk separates when heated past a certain point. You could try heating it less (about 60 seconds on high power in the microwave) and see if you like it. If you are looking for a great dairy free milk for your hot coffee that isn&#039;t as prone to separating, I recommend blending cashews with water to make cashew milk (no need to strain cashew milk).
