In reply to Martha. It keeps for 3-5 days in the fridge. If you freeze it, it can last 2 months. Just be sure to wrap well to avoid freezer burn.

In reply to J C. You are baking the meat inside of a pan that gets set inside of another pan. You add the water to the larger pan (so no water touches the meat). You can watch the video or look at the photos. Sometimes an instruction is hard to visualize until you see it. Hope this helps!

Are you saying to pour water over the whole meat mixture before baking?I know you dont want it to dry out, but it seems like a lot.

This is something to make when you want to entertain. Perfect for the holidays because its special. It has a strong flavor combination, of course there is liver in it. I love all kinds of pate’ and find this one to be a real treat.
