I&#039;m all for lots of soup in winter time. I love steaming up the house and there&#039;s just something so cozy about warm broth. If you&#039;re looking for another solid soup recipe, I also really like the borscht with beets.]]></description>

Hi Pamela, I&#039;m so happy you and your husband like the soup, and I love the addition of peas -so smart!   I noticed with this soup that it does thicken a bit over time because of the barley so as a heads up, try to get to it within a day or 2.]]></description>

I did add some frozen peas to give it a bit mor green but with or without the peas I will keep this around for my husband &amp; an impressive company meal after church.]]></description>
